DIRECTIONS

  1. Put the liquid and the solid ingredients in two separate bowls. Beat the former in a mixer and stir the latter with a spoon.
  2. Mix them together.
  3. In a baking tray lined with grease paper (in order to easily remove it from the tin), pour over the mixture.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 170C for 1 hour.

Do not open the oven door during the first 45’ while baking, because the cake will not rise.

    2 cups flour ¼ cup of water ½ cup of seed oil ¾ cup of fresh orange juice 2 tblsp brandy 1 tea spoon cinnamon ¼ tea spoon nutmeg ¼ tea spoon clove 1 tblsp baking soda zest of one orange 1 cup of brown sugar 1 cup od couverture chocolate drops 1 cup of finely chopped walnuts 1 cup of raisins
