Red cabbage salad with feta cheese
A tasteful salad, also enjoyed as a main course. Made with Horio Classic olive oil and Horio feta cheese mountain regions. By Dimitris Skarmoutsos.
Red cabbage salad with feta cheese


1 small red cabbage or ½ big, thinly sliced 2 tbsp Horio Classic olive oil 2 tbsp lemon or lime juice Salt Red pepper flakes ½ cup pitted roughly chopped dates 115 gr Horio Mountain Regions feta cheese, grated 1 tbsp chopped parsley 2 tsp toasted sesame seeds


  1. In a bowl, mix red cabbage with Horio Classic olive oil, lemon or lime juice, salt and pepper.
  2. Taste and add juice or seasoning if needed and mix well.
  3. Add half dates and half Horio feta cheese Mountain Regions and mix.
  4. Garnish with the rest of dates and Horio feta cheese Mountain Regions, parsley and sesame seeds.
  5. Can be kept for at least 1 hour in the fridge.
