Tabbouleh salad
Bulgur, tomatoes, spring onions, cucumber, herbs and lime in a delicious salad recipe by Dimitris Skarmoutsos. Enjoy as a main course, too!
Tabbouleh salad


½ c bulgur 4 finely chopped tomatoes 1 finely sliced cucumber 1 small bunch of parsley, finely chopped 12-15 finely chopped fresh mint leaves 4 finely chopped spring onions Salt 3-4 tbsp lime juice 3-4 tbsp Horio Mountain Regions olive oil


  1. Wash bulgur and leave in water for 5-6 minutes. Strain well using hands and leave aside.
  2. Finely chop vegetables and spring onions.
  3. Wash tomatoes and leave in colander to remove juices.
  4. Put vegetables and onion rings in a bowl. Add bulgur and season with salt. Mix well.
  5. Add lime juice and Horio Mountain Regions olive oil and mix. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve with pita bread.
